Univar CarCoolant 774F

The Carcoolant 774F is a high quality product from the leading manufacturers in Europe. 774 F is a ”OAT”- (Organic Acid Technology) glycol meaning that the glycols properties is comes from organic acids and is free from nitrite, amines, phosphate and silicate. The result is a product with a very low environmental inpact.
774 F guarantees safe functionality and good protection against corrosion following most of the occurring car manufacturer’s specifications.

774C is free from nitrite, amine and phosphate but contains silicate in order to give the best possible protection against corrosion of the engines light metal parts (aluminum, magnesium).
774C guarantees safe functionality and good protection against corrosion following most of the occurring car manufacturer’s specifications.
Univar CarCoolant BS6580
- A standard engine glycol
- An anti corrosion package base on organic additives
- Can be mixed with most other engine coolants on the market

Carcoolant BS6580 is a standard engine glycol developed by Univar. The majority of the engine coolants sold on service stations, super markets and after market shops is the so called BS6580 glycol.
The corrosion protection package in this glycol is based only on organic additives which gives an environmental advantage but still a satisfactory corrosion protection.
In order to keep a good corrosion protection it is recommended that > 25% of the volume in the cooling system is replaced annually since the additives in the glycol will be partly consumed.
Carcoolant MBS
- Engine coolant based on propylen glycol.
- Corrosion protection based on organic additives.
- Miscible with other propylen glycol based engine coolants.
- Wide working temperatur range.
- Follows the BS6580 requirements
Carcoolant MBS is a standard quality engine coolant developed by Univar. Only a small amount of all engine coolants is based on propylene glycol.
The corrosion protection in this glycol is based on organic additives only. This gives less effect on the environment but still good corrosion protection.
In order to keep a good corrosion protection we do recommend that > 25% of the volume in the cooling system is replaced each year since the additives in the glycol are consumed.
