Univar showcasing new personal care ingredients at in cosmetics

Brussels, Belgium – 25th March 2011 – Univar Inc., a leading global chemical distributor, today announced that it will be showcasing an exciting and diverse range of new personal care products at in-cosmetics this year. Univar’s specialised technical and sales teams will be demonstrating these at stand M30 which will be shared with its long-standing partner, Dow Corning.
At the stand, PCCA’s NatapresTM is expected to attract particular attention on what will be its European debut. This all-natural ingredient offers effective preservative properties while being easy to use and does not impart additional colours or odours to formulations.
Univar will also be showcasing its own range of new natural and botanical products which complement its comprehensive portfolio of personal care ingredients. New launches from several of Univar’s key partners, such as Dow Corning and Dow, will be on display as well.
One area Univar will be focusing on is highlighting to its customers the exceptional advantages of combining top-quality natural and chemical ingredients. It will be presenting a number of exciting formulations that demonstrate this including ‘Eternal Exotic Tattoo’, which will be on display at the exhibition’s ‘Innovation Zone’. This novel formulation, with outstanding durability, colour intensity and a glamorous look, combines the unique properties of silicones (including a brand new resin with extra-long lasting effects) with two natural ingredients which provide nutritive benefits as well as a natural source of antioxidant.
