Anti-Freeze
Univar offer our own brand of Anti-freeze, which meets and in certain cases surpasses the requirement of BS6580.1992. In conjunction with BASF, we also offer the complete range of Glysantin® Specialist Engine Coolants, which meet the specifications of a large number of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
In today’s market, engine coolants are no longer merely an anti-freeze. The modern consumer expects an engine coolant to offer not only seasonal protection against frost, but to prevent over heating and protect against corrosion. It is this threefold action that distinguishes an all year round coolant, as a cooling system containing water only, combined with high operating temperatures, promotes corrosion.
To meet changing market needs, we offer pre-mixed Anti-freeze across a range of grades and packaging. We have also introduced supply of most grades in Returnable IBCs which reduces the environmental costs associated with empty “waste” packaging proving significant cost savings.
