Caflon® Univar branded surfactants
The Caflon® brand has a long and proud tradition in the UK market and due to its success at home it has now been launched by Univar in Europe. It is recognised for quality, security of supply, innovation and value.
There are two areas where the Caflon® brand brings benefits to both our customers and our suppliers.
Caflon® is the brand for proprietary, Univar Ltd surfactant blends and concentrates, produced at our Cargo Fleet site in Middlesbrough. Examples include Dish Wash concentrates, Rinse Aids, Traffic Film Removers, Oil Slick Dispersants etc… These products allow our customers to simplify their production processes & spend more time on processes key to their business. They also provide an internal market and testing ground for product innovations to our suppliers.
Secondly, the Caflon® brand is used for multi-sourced commodity surfactants which complement our branded product offering. This ensures security of supply for our customer’s key raw materials and offers suppliers an alternative route to market.
